Hi all looking to buy an HD satellite receiver, any recommendations, only wanting one for astra 2 and astra 1. I have looked on internet but would like your opinions and knowledge. Cheers

I have a Humax HB1000s freesat box and very pleased with it, no longer made newer version has WiFi.

We use an old Bush Freesat HD receiver mainly because it is 12volts so no separate charger required.

The Manhattan SX is dual voltage - 12v & 240v (y)

Thanks will look into both of those, must be 12 volt as we very rarely have electric hook up.
It’s a pity that you are not more ‘local’ to me, as I have a satellite system in the ’Classifieds’ free for collection - including a Manhattan SX……

Not this year, I’m afraid…….. :(
