Satellite finder / meter that shows name? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know of a sat finder meter which also gives the satellite name?

I use a maxpeak satellite meter. You can download satellites from their website. When locked on shows Sat Found and signal strength and pic quality.

if you want one that shows the satellite details it will be at least £150 ...

I have never used a finder.
The receiver has been told by yourself which satellite to look for.
Press the info button on the receiver's remote.
There are two bars displayed, signal strength and signal quality.
As you get near to the sat, they will increase in value and the selected channel will appear in the background.
On mine:
Top bar........(dish bearing) get above about 75 - 80% (ish)
Bottom bar... (dish angle) play with elevation to improve quality.
All you need is to know the rough elevation required (download this table) and which way is south.
Aim south, go left a bit and it's sorted.
Takes less time than sex.

A bloke with new, all singing, dancing everything I met in Italy said alignment wasn't possible without a finder, I therefore couldn't have a signal.
I told him to go tell my Mrs she wasn't really watching the Euro football match.

(His finder was expensive, it did everything but find Astra2 and brew up).
