Hola, I have an intermittent fault with my Satellite system. When I try to raise from the home position, it sometimes (I say sometimes, but most of the time), sticks after a little effort to raise. I then get three constant orange lights showing on the maxview box when this happens. I switch off then on again and the dish parks. The dish has only ever stuck once when fully raised and I had to switch the system on and off constantly until I got it parked. So, I sent the box to maxview, they tested it and have said that there is nothing wrong with it. They suggest a wiring or motor problem, which is probably correct. I worry that when I take it back to the dealer, they try it over a few days and it works every time; they then tell me there is nothing wrong with it without investigating further. So, before I do that, have any of you good folks experienced a similar issue. All help appreciated as always (y)

I had similar issue with my Maxview Seeker , kept getting an error code on the wireless remote display .
the problem was caused by one of the two multi plugs in the base of the satellite being damp and making an
intermittent bad connection .
Maxview were very helpful in helping to diagnose the fault and i unbolted the dish from the roof and disconnected the two multi plugs and the two satellite feed cables which was easy to do , I then sprayed the multi plugs with electrical switch cleaner and made sure they were firmly pushed back together reconnected the satellite feed cables and it was fixed

Thanks for the info Neil (y)

I too have problems with my Maxview. It takes what feels like ages before the dish rises from its parked position. I put this down to a stiff wrist when winding the handle.

Need to get more exercise on that wrist then ;) :beerchug:
