Can anyone suggest a reliable, simple, value for money Sat Nav please? :Blush:

Are the maps downloaded to the phone or must you rely on an internet connection for the maps?

If you mean re Sygic then yes they are downloaded on to the phone - you select which maps you want ie uk or a selection ie uk, france and spain. That way you dont need an internet connection. I paid for traffic alerts, this does need a signal but it is very good and tells you what delay on route and possible diversions.

Sygic do a truck version at i think £130 which is the same except you enter vehicle dimensions and it ensures the chosen route is okay.
