Sat Nav coordinates format (1 Viewer)

Im trying to input some coordinates into my Garmin the but its not taking them, I suppose i need to format the coordinates.

any one know what the format should be for N42,80306 W9,12944.

Depending on which Garmin you have
go into settings / units and time /position format /coordinate format and change to the required one
Think you want "h ddd° .ddddd° possibility

Make sure you do put the right ones in though, because even if they look similar they can be miles different, been there , done that
