Sat Nav / Athermic screen

Hi,

Does anyone know if the heat-reflective windowscreen on a 2017 Fiat camper will affect my Garmin Camper LMT-D Sat Nav?

I don't know a lot about athermic screens but a quick Google shows that they can reduce signal strength. If there is a mottled area at the top of the screen it is probably where the device or the aerial needs to be, it is where they say toll tags need to be positioned.

Thanks for that it confirms my suspicions, just wondered if anyone has any direct experience. Does sufficient signal get in through the plain side windows?
