I'M SERIOUSLY THINKING OF DOWNLOADING THE COPILOT TRUCK APP ONTO MY SAMSUNG GALAXY TABLET, AT A COST OF £90 FROM GOOGLE PLAY.
HAS ANYONE ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS ?
HAS ANYONE GOT COPILOT TRUCK & WHAT DO YOU THINK OF IT??
HOW DO YOU SECURE A 7" TABLET TO THE DASH ??

I've used Copilot Live for a good 10 years and no complaints so don't see why that should not work.

Big difference, I paid £30(ish) for all EU maps last year for the car version.

You can buy dash mounts for tablets but I knocked one up pretty quickly out of sheet aluminium and it clips in the FIAT map holder.

I use co pilot live I can't remember it being £90 but I find it excellent I use a rubber spider type of thing to fasten it to th vent on right of steering wheel can't remember the name will look later for you.

Co Pilot is superb. Buy the European maps for about £30, and you can set it for RV type vehicles in Vehicle Preferences. No need for the Truck version IMHO. £90? No need.

They used to, but they have got a lot better since the last updates. I have had it on various phones for years never had a problem swapping, but its even easier now. Now have it on a Nexus 7 for the van, its about the perfect size.

We downloaded the TomTom App to the I-pad £65 and linked it with Campercontact £5 and it works seamlessly, plus, you only need the I-pad on the dash with no"squinting" at a little satnav.. Highly recommend it.. !!!
