bit of a perplexing problem. I have been on Mull and found that I could not view Channel 4, Flim 4 or several other channels. I have fta Avtex built in receiver for off grid and also a Humax freesat recording box. I toggle between the two without problem. Both are connected to the dome (independently. I have to disconnect one feed and attach to the TV).

I lost the channels on both systems hence thinking it is the dome....Maxview older system.

I then moved to Moffat on the way home and found I could receive the channels on both systems!

Any ideas?
Thanks

Maybe Mull is just on the edge of your dish's reception area and so it locked on to the wrong satellite?

Thanks Linda and Steph. I go to Mull very frequently and it has always been OK before. Some signals may have changed or moved though so I will investigate.

From our experience with Sat domes this has the symptoms of an LNB failure on one of the polarizations. its any easy fix and to find out you can get an LNB to fit off eBay.

Let us know how you get on.
