Sardinia in June

Hi, has anyone recently done the trip from Toulon to Sardinia then back via Corsica, if so any help about campsites ferries ( how near to travelling do you need to book) roads, sightseeing etc would be greatly appreciated

We went via Nice to Corsica then travelled anti clockwise to the southern tip. Ferry to Sardinia then anti clockwise again - ferry then to Livorno. Simple access to Florence and then the Northern Lakes. Worked for us, brilliant time and adventure. Our trip was April May and we took 4 weeks to just do the two island bit.
