Ferry booked to Santander arriving 21st December. Can anyone suggest a campsite or safe place to park near the port where I can stay for 1 night?

Yes yes just look up Cabarceno in the Spanish aires book you will not find a nicer stop off point and it is free

We have just left there and it is brilliant, may be a little cool in december but snuggle up

Cabarceno

We were at Cabarceno last week and were amazed that such a beautiful aire could be free. The sun was shining and watching the elephants, water buffalo and deer was a bonus. We will certainly go again.
