Santander

Hi all
I suspect this has been posted on here be4 but we are going from portsmouth to santander in jan 19 can anyone on here recommend a decent aire in santander just in case we req one.

I cant help with a aire in Santander as we always stay at Cabarceno. Its about 1/2 hour away by the elephant park.

Carbarceno works well. Short drive that gets you off the boat and out of town quickly. Lots of space and very peaceful, which is welcome following the excitement of disembarking.

There is a small aire at the back of the Marina with water EHU and disposal point its only five minutes from the ferry terminal ,the guy comes round in the morning for payment its only small but very convenient there is a restaurant nearby and its all covered by cctv we have stayed there twice and its been good .

I have stayed at Cabarceno twice,and can recommend it.Easy drive once you get of the ferry it’s a large aire plenty of space.Good stopover on way home as well.we will be staying there January 19th before heading south

The Marina aire is very good and is 6euros inc electric but only 8 electric points.
