Title says it all really just on a bus trip to San merino today then shall have to think about heading back to france, any ideas apart from the obvious motorway.

Shame that you are leaving Italy so soon, Portofino is spectacular as is Amalfi & the islands of Capri & Ischia.

Agree, Portofino and Ventimiglia are our usual route.

Yeah I keep on about portofino but no one seems to go, it's beyond perfect.

Been to Rimini and San Marino. We headed back across the country North West via Bologna, Parma and Milan and enter Switzerland at Como. Then Swiss motorways all the eay to Basle where you enter France.
