Samsung tab a7 to avtex (1 Viewer)

Just tried to connect my Samsung tab a7 to my avtex TV and there is no connection. 8 belive the A7 does not have hdmi output. It does mirror cast but of course the avtex is not a smart tv.
Anyone know if it is possible to get round this please?

I'm afraid I don't think its possible to get round it.

You would have to upload your programmes to youtube and then cast it from there. None of the TabA series have HDMI to my knowledge. The S series do but they are considerable more expensive

Of if you want to go wireless something like a Chromecast should also work.

Though note that neither of these will work with Sky Go (Sky's DRM doesn't allow external screens connected via USB).

Could you mirror cast it to a firestick or roku stick ?

Does the Avtex have an HDMI input? If the A7 can cast, you may be able to plug in a cheap casting stick from eBay into the telly.

Not possible with the Tab A either the 7 or 10". I looked into this sometime ago as had Samsung Tab A for a few years. You could cast to a firestick, not something I have bothered with.

Use your phone as a hotspot for Firestick.Thats what I do.BUSBY. Sorry just noticed you said tablet.I use an A7 phone.

Yep, they disabled it. This happens for example with Netflix if you try to chromecast it.

When you say you tried to play a video, what is the video source? YouTube? Sky Go? Netflix?

Amazon prime that I have downloaded and tried to play through amazon firestick. It works on my huawei phone but only with Internet connection. Thanks
