Mine.. Ezzie is covered in mud on a throw on the settee as usual... would I be without her... no way.

But the pain when they go.. is so very hard to handle... Ezzie is 6 now.. and I fear the day.

enjoy your new member of the family.

Thanks for showing us your photos, he or she, is absolutely adorable, what a little cutie!

We lost our 15 year old border collie 14 months ago and said we would never have another, we couldn't go through all the heartache again:Sad:

We wish you all years of fun with him:thumb:

many many years! since I was a kid
A house is not a home unless a dog shares their life there with you::bigsmile:

I remember the first few years after leaving home and university, I was without a dog in my home, mostly due to cost. These days I look back with regret that I wasted those few years. Since then though we have always had at least one canine companion and all being will will do so until the end. Some people say that they are child substitutes, but to us they are far more and fill what would otherwise be a hole in our lives..they are our soul mates::bigsmile:

We lost our St Bernard at an early age. They are the most amazing dogs. A year later, after saying we would never get another dor, we got two "large"dogs. A white garman shepherd and an alaskan malamute. Together they wheigh less than the St Bernard. I would still have another one though, but I would not swap our currrent two. The reason a lot of us do this lifestyle is because we do not believe about a dog being for life, we know they are part of the family.

Aaaaaah

I can see why you couldn't resist. I have two and my poor daughter says that it can't be right that she feels sibling rivalry for two dogs.:thumb:

If you eliminate smoking, drinking and gambling, you will be amazed to find that almost all an Englishman´s pleasures can be, and mostly are, shared by his dog.

Gorgeous looking puppy - wishing you many years of happy travels together.

Nix is one today. She spent most of the weekend covering everything in mud (yes, we were at P'boro!) but I wouldn't be without her.

IF I knew how to put a photo on here I would share my Kobi with you all. We went 3 yrs before committing and so glad we did. I walk 3 dogs daily and the amount of people I meet who have said "Never again" but now have puppies etc It's in our nature We are, after all, hunter gatherers, and dogs are our companions.
I just wish I could have given a dog from the rescue kennel a home but sadly couldn't as mostly Staffies (I do like them as my son had one) but with young grandchildren here every weekend they are too big and bousterous.
So don't ""Give dog a bone"" Give a dog a home!
