Safari room alteration (1 Viewer)

Hi, I am advertising in the classifieds for a 3.4m safari room, my question is after looking on ebay the nearest size seems to be 3.5 m, can the front panel be shortened by taking .1m off the end opposite the door? I wouldn't have thought there would be a problem with this, has anyone done this? Any info gratefully received.

All the awnings I've seen are 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5 and 5.5
Never heard of one being 3.4, may I suggest measuring again :thumb:

There are quite a few companies that will do alterations on awnings.
One of the easiest is the front wall.
Its best if a section in the middle(ish) can be removed so that it leaves each end as original to join with the two side walls. This might lead to a slightly smaller window in the front wall.
Not in your part of the world but a company that I have used is:-
Ringwood Flexigoods and their card reads.....sewing and welding of PVC and canvas.
Manufactured & repaired. Tents, banners,fun pools, trailer covers and marquees etc.

Hi, Nigel, have measured it twice, the length of the awning fabric is defo 3.4 mtr, is this what you measure or is it the FULL width including the ends?
