Hi All,

We have an Thule Omnistor Awning and we were wondering if the Safari/Privacy room has to be the full length of the awning or can you buy one that is say half length like a porch awning on a caravan?

Also can you mix & match between Omnister & Fiamma or do you have to buy the specific make?

Thanks in advance (y),

Antony

the fiamma will fit with a minor mod / bracket but you will need an awning the same width as the wind ot if you want to use all 3 sides.

they are great awnings but really heavy and best used for long stays.

there are porch awning you can use, we use a rally Kampa in the " rainy season"!

The two end pieces grip the wind-out fabric to support it and reduce flapping.

Given some DIY you might cobble one support to fit mid section. A bit of a gamble. Then it would leave half the fabric open to flapping around and damage.
