So for those of you that aren't observant, our new Motorhome got towed away last weekend and after a week of investigation, the fiat dealer has still not been able to identity the problem.

We were booked into Vanbitz on Wednesday for an alarm fitting, just not going to happen. A quick call to James and they swapped me with the person who was booked in for the 22 of June, a fantastic relief as the original booking took 9 weeks !

Thank to James & Vanbitz and to the person who was booked for the 22nd .... over to Fiat to get it repaired in time

well for those of us that are unobservant, did you realise you have restricted access to your history so we can't even have a look at what has gone wrong

hope 'it' whatever 'it' is gets fixed quickly and at reasonable cost

apologies for not noticing first time round

oh and yes Friday is G + T night after 4 nights without alcohol

Vanbitz did that for me as well, when the delivery of our new motorhome was delayed by a couple of weeks which meant just missing our original slot. If we had gone to the back of the queue we would have been outside the time limit of a month set by our insurers for having an alarm fitted. The fact that James arranged a swap meant another customer was happy because he got his fitted earlier and we were happy. Win-win!

I'm guessing that it makes sense for them to try and swap dates with another customer rather than try and fill the slot with a new customer at late notice, just good business practice surely?
