A very sad request
We have friends who are also in Spain in a MoHo and they have just told us that their elderly Jack Russel travelling with them has died :crying1: does anybody know the legalities of taking her home?

Sorry I have just had a look at the thread.
And dont think there is much information on there.

There is a little info there thanks. I think they have decided to bury her in a nice spot the visit when in Spain.

The only other thing to do would ask fro her to be cremated at a vets & get the ashes returned.

Cremate andbring ashes home. Who’s going to no. That’s what I would do

If they have the dog cremated in Spain, I would have thought you will have to get a certificate or something from the vet for its Pet Passport. Unless you don't have a return ticket and buy one without a Pet, your outward ticket will have had a pet travelling and therefore required to see Pet Passport Control on return.

They have a one way ticket so no worries on that one. They have now definitely decided to bury her here now.
Thanks everyone for your comments.

It's very sad, but I would like to think she passed away doing something she loved .... being on holiday with her family
