Hi all.
we have just joined the forum
We recently bought a Ford Econoline E350 Travelcraft 24ft. 7.3Ltr V8 Diesel :Eeek:
Though it's primary function is to tow our race car we are using it for holidays and weekends away.
We are attending the show at Malvern later this month, that will be it's first real outing with us and the dogs.
Planning a bit more touring toward the end of the month
Previously we owned a Winnebago Warrior 22ft (Chevy G30 chassis)

regards
Gareth

Hi Gareth

Welcome to the site

You certainly made a good choice of vehicle, a great many of the motor racing fraternity use RVs for the sheer power and comfort they provide.....we did just that and never looked back.

Why not pop along and say hello at Malvern if you get the time....we will be at stand 162 (opposite Itchy Feet) I am sure JC would love to hear about your racing antics :roflmto:

What do you race by the way? ::bigsmile:

Cheers
Linda

Thanks for the welcome.

As far as we know our Travelcraft has been here since new (1988) at some point it was owned by a 1/4mile bike racer Steve Venebles.
It's only done 40k miles and apart from the odd parking scrape is in great condition.

We will say hello on our tour of the stands and hopefully meet a few other Yank owners.
We are taking our 2 boxer dogs so shouldn't too too hard to spot/avoid.

We race a classic Mk1 MR2 (Black #17)

We are racing at Mallory Park on Bank Holiday Monday so Malvern is an ideal shake down run/weekend away.

We have owned American cars for a few years, currently down to just 1 a 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible, amongst the usual Mustangs & other Cougars we have also owned an NYPD Interceptor and an old New York Checker cab that we did weddings and other functions with.

regards
Gareth
