Hi all can anyone let me know how difficult is it to dispose of black and grey water. In France. Spain. Portugal. 4" waist straight out and down many thanks yup

Not easy, learnt to ask if there was manhole I could use in French and Spanish, and had a large collection of continental manhole keys. I’m ashamed to admit that there have been the odd occasion where I haven’t been to sure of the type of drain I was using. As I’ve said before, if I ever went back to a black tank it wouldn’t be without a macerator.

With my RVs I always carried a Fiamma wheeled tote tank with matching 3” bayonet for times when I couldn’t dump over a manhole which are scarce on sites in U.K. and Europe.
Occasionally there would be on pitch grey water disposal for which I carried a couple of lengths of 3” flexi pipe.
Some carry macerators with small bore pipes .

I had to replace my macerator and cost about £65 and for £5 wired in a remote so I can hold the end at an elsan point if needed and turn on and off.
