Hi everyone!

I've been using the van on mountain roads for the past 2 winters and there appears to be some rust starting to appear. Does not look like anything structural, but should I be considering treating that somehow? If so, with what?

Video included where the rust looks really orange (its not that bright IRL).

Nothing to worry about, thin band around waste tank may be a problem 10 years on. The drive shaft and track rod are both heavy steel and will likely last the life of the vehicle as is the shocker(s) and where they are rusting is not a problem, expect the internal seals to fail long before the rust does any thing. If you are going to keep over ten years do something if not just ignore it.

Hi
I have found nothing better than ACF50. Easy to apply and certainly stops corrosion dead and protects for a good length of time. It has amazing 'creep' so gets into all those hidden areas. If used on areas subject to constant 'wash-off' then you will need to reapply every year or so.

I use ACF 50 on the motorbike and under the van on the metal bits, not alloy.
