Did bugger all yesterday and only went for a long walk today….
Only amusing thing was walking along the boardwalk there was a considerable gap due to construction work and this German offered to pull me backwards along the sandy beach, he was having a heart attack by the time he got me to the other end…

So sorry to hear of your loss mate.I’m the same, I alway say of myself that I’ve died 3 times already in my lifetime so one more won’t hurt….
I’ve got good memories of her as we spent a lot of time in each other’s company many years ago…
My brother died less than a week ago. He made it very clear to me NO funeral and no wake, etc etc.
Co-op doing the cremation, his son will collect the ashes, end of.
It's what he wanted......or didn't in his case.

Only reason I would have a funeral is for closure for those left behind. A reception afterwards because most would have travelled miles.
I don't want speeches or a eulogy just lots of my favourite music as people sit and remember. Quite happy if it only takes 10 minutes.
