Hi there,

We are making our first forays into the idea of going full time with our young family, very exciting and a bit daunting!

We have been looking at different RV's but the best looking option to us is a large 5th wheel as nothing else offers the kind of accomodation this has/number of bedrooms.

We got various bits of advice from various people on other forums but the worst news was that maximum length was 7 metres??? Seems mad that companies such as keygarv can sell the big rigs if they are longer than is permissable by uk law? Or is this an issue with the kind of tug you use to pull it?

We were really dreaming of a toy hauler like the heartland cyclone 3210 or jayco recon zx.

Seems the other stumbling block is the number of axles as some campsites in the uk would insist we needed 2 pitches for something so big with more than 1 axle?

If anyone has any experience, advice etc we would be so grateful, thanks
