Rubbish plastic taps. (1 Viewer)

I'm just about to install a Thetford sink/hob combo but I want to find a quality tap but so far my search has been fruitless. Because the tap has to fold down low so you can shut the lid choice is limited. Everybody seems to stock the same Chinese made plastic crepe made by smev or Reiche. I have thought about blanking the tap hole off and fitting a standard tap to the side where I would find much more choice and quality. Has anybody found a better quality folding tap or are the ones in German motorhomes better. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
