Basically, I left a chilly Scotland on 1 January for sunny Spain - stupidly, minus my hearing aids. My daughter posted a tracked package with my hearing aids to Spain on 3 January. The hearing aid package was last clocked at the Royal Mail international base in near Heathrow on the 7 January. Then the Royal Mail suffered a cyber attack on their international tracking software. After one month, Royal Mail confirms they have absolutely no idea where the package is - and for sure it’s not found its way to Spain. Neither my hearing aid insurance or my travel insurance want to know since my hearing aids were not in my possession when they went missing. In short, it looks like I am going to have to stump up £3,500 to replace the hearing aids. Two months in Spain is thankfully less expensive!
