After leaving Santander ferry on Monday I intend to make my first stop at Camping Cubillas near Valladolid.
Has anyone stayed there, is it OK. I have a 29ft RV.

Not stayed there sorry!

Our route from Santander last November was :-

Burgos - 1 night - lovely town short walk from campsite - bus back.

Santander - 1 night - bus from Camping Regio into city - beautiful place!

Merida - 1 night - just used it as a stop off.

Between Santander and Merida we had a Portuguese adventure in JJ's Quinta Majay :ROFLMAO:

That was really just a short diversion off the straightforward route

Looking forward to seeing you in Zahora :thumb:

We came off the ferry and drove around 200 miles before we stopped, was going to an aires/campsite, but didnt seem to be open so stayed in a road where lorries were parked, the police checked us out during the night and was ok about it, the aire/campsite Velles is
41° 3'29.44"N, 5°32'45.38"W.
Our other place we stopped at was 37°59'38.87"N,
6°13'49.11"W
160 miles from Zahora.

If you make a detour and pass near to me, bring pies... :winky:

JJ

Dunno if I have enough payload for all those FB cans :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Pity I didn't have more time for a detour but we have Mo's birthday do on the 19th so have to go straight through
