Route from Greece to UK via Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Austria

We’re thinking of taking this route home in early July.
Any up to date info would be appreciated from those who’ve done it as, apart from Northernraider ’s recent trips, we don’t know anything about those countries.
Especially their road/toll/insurance requirements.
We also have Honey Hound with us so any info about what’s needed for her to travel through those countries would also be really useful. I know Serbia is tricky which is why we’ve decided not to go there.
“Must see” places to visit, places to avoid etc also gratefully received.

No additional insurance required for Bulgaria romania Hungary , i never used any toll roads either. And no complications with dogs either ..you won't have any issues
