Hi all,
We'll be returning to our home in Spain from the UK in late October/early November. Newhaven to Dieppe and then about a 7-day run allowed from there to home.
On the outbound leg from Spain to UK, we'll be going up the west side, stopping around La Rochelle and Fougeres on the way to Le Havre. That side of things is sorted but we've not really got any firm ideas on where we'd like to go on our way down through France on the return, other than we'd like to cross over into Spain at the southern end of the Pyrennees.
We're toying with the notion of visiting Reims to do the champagne tour thing, and then heading down towards the Millau bridge. The rest is totally open to suggestions from the experienced French travellers amongst you.
One day we hope to know France a lot better (and the rest of Europe, for that matter!) but for now, any advice most gratefully received.
Thanks!
