Round headlight adjusters (1 Viewer)

Has anybody replaced the headlight adjusters, ball and socket type thing.
I’ve got one with the plastic part broken I think and would like to know what to order and from where.

Look on ebay. They are Hella headlights, both dip and main. The ball socket can be prised apart with a screwdriver or similar but awkward to get at.

Fit the well lubricated plastic socket first.
Position the well lubricated ball end to the socket, and give the bolt end a short mechanical assisted smack.
Good luck, but watch the blood pressure.

I’m all for mechanical assisted smack, IF I could get to it with a smacker

I had to replace the whole mechanism from dash to lights. Bit of silicone lube and the metal balls popped in with just strong finger pressure. Took one lamp out but didn't need to for second.

I think I had to locate one of the bolts into the socket by gripping the bolt behind the ball with a pair of long nosed pliers and then pulling or 'smacking' them?
