Hi there all,
Any frequent travelers to France give the latest update re Rouen Bridge, the info I have is that it is still closed until August. As usual through a mate of a mate who has a mate,:thumb: I have been told that in fact it opened early, Oh yeah I say. so I will only take firm confirmation from seasoned reliable travelers , that’s you …….

We travelled through via pont d arch where the aire is in December and March with no problems ,

Am out in France now - and have heard from others here that it's still closed. Will be setting my satnav to avoid it!

It was still shut 2 weeks ago. Used the route through Pont de L'arche no problems easier than using the bridge.

It was shut last week...Not planned to open before August 2014.

Came through Rouen yesterday and the bridge is still closed.

We used the Tancarville Bridge and stayed overnight at Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Talle aire last year. It is on the bluff just above the bridge.

Travelled thru on 28th June from Pont D'Arche all ok

Came through last Thursday -Mathilde was still closed and Rouen was a nightmare to find a way through - almost took a road where the bridges would have decapitated the van, saw the directional sign for lorries just in time! Scary.

It's best to head towards Paris then turn off for Pont de L'arche and a clear run up the right hand side of the river.
