Rotten floor (1 Viewer)

I had a problem earlier with the lower step being wet through after asking advice I managed to cure it but when I cut it the carpet the wood is completely rotten any body any advice on replacing this it looks as if I remove the fold down step I should be able to effect a repair any advice would be appreciated 1998 autotrail Cheyenne 634

It may also be worth posting the question on the British motorhomes forum /Auto trail sub forum on this site as someone there may have had this problem and been able to sort it out.
