With the Hymer s650 there are two 'T' slot roof rails that can be used to fix various things to. Does anyone know if these 'T' slot rails are actuallty sealed to the roof or are they just screwed to an indent section in the roof panel. I am referring to the 'T' slot rail that runs from near the front of the roof all the way down the back panel almost to the rear light cluster.

anything screwed to the roof should also be sealed.

i dont have any knowledge of the said rails but i would expect them to be stuck down (sikaflex etc) then screwed.

if they arent sealed you will get water ingress without doubt at some point.
