Does anyone know what make of sealing tape is being used over the roof joints on this 2017 Bessacarr...just thought it might come in handy for other/emergency motorhome repairs...

You could spend a bit more on a £82K Swift Kon-Tiki and just get a thick strip of sealant instead...

Is this a wind up? Is that how they make ‘em? Wouldn’t want one of those.

Sorry if I sounded blunt ....... but I don’t think illl be buying one of those....

Anyway the “tape” I think is a sealing tape of some sort and then gel coated and painted.. in manufacture. I’d be surprised if there is an equivalent without coating and painting...(y)

I was going to recommend using some duck tape (as a joke) but after looking at the pics I think the use of DT would improve the look.

When we had a Bessacar caravan they called it Aircraft tape it was sealed fist then covered over with this tape it was only cosmetic to make it look neater not used as a water seal but did not stick that well.
This was done at Couplands Caravans at Louth the only Bessacar caravan dealer in existence they bought the name from Swift Group and use it as their flagship model.

That sort of thing beats me decades and decades after the first monocoque camper.
