Found it! My wonderful 30 year old Burstner Mobile has a bit of damp. My athletic son Ed climbed up and found the problem. As I suspected the roof needs a bit of tlc. A gap has developed along seal trim.

Advice please. A neighbour with a background in motor trade suggests we re seal with windscreen sealant Flexible but durable.

Any thoughts on suitable sealant?? Would car windscreen seal be a good option?

Don't use windscreen sealant. Sikaflex is the proper stuff - bit more expensive but get's the job done properly.
Make sure the joint is clean and dry before applying the sealant.

Cheers. Motorhome owners know best I'm sure.

Apart from being the wrong sealant for the job in hand
Windscreen Sealant is an eye watering BLACK.
Looks a treat on white roofs:xeek:
