Interior Roof lining on my Hymer is showing signs of coming unstuck, as its got a foam padding I would have to be careful in applying a suitable adhesive, have any Funsters carried out this type of repair, and if so could offer any advice on glue types.

I haven't done it but you should be OK to use carpet adhesive.
It's a spray-on contact type that you apply to both surfaces and put them together when they are touch dry.

many many years! since I was a kid
cheap spray on glue fails when it is heated up. you get in the van on a hot summers day and the ceiling has sagged. clear copydex is great for small areas or contact adhesive for a large area.
