Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
Yes,just keep back a bit from the roof-lights etc and don't stand on the fibreglass pod. I'm 16 stone and have had no problems!

Should be... unless there is any rot in it.. ::bigsmile:

I would put a plank from side to side with a couple of old pillows or blankets under each end..

And if you do go straight on the roof ... try to keep away from seams and joins.. :thumb:

yes.. most motorhome roofs can be walked on.. but keep away from the edges of roof lights, and any other furniture that penetrates the roof skin.. your weight can break the seal around them.. water ingress is inevitable..

a spreader board, or plank can also be used if you are a bit on the heavy side..

and be extra cautious when wet and soapy .. they can be like a skating rink.. for that reason I always prefer bare feet.. stay back from the edge..

safer and easier is to use one of these ladders that turns into a low working platform.. then wash from a safe height with a car washing brush.

8 years ish
I cleaned my roof from a ladder.
No need to go on the roof at all.
Clean one side, then move and clean the other.

This is the third year I have cleaned the roof [HI]WITHOUT[/HI] going through a garage roof and breaking my ankles and toes.
(Remember that?)
Done well, eh?
