Heki doesn't open and yes very happy with it, fast efficient, heats as well. Not used much due to non summer, but has been great for cooling down m/ h fast when been out all day.

We have a freshlight - Not deeply impressed with its performance.

We had the Dometic engineer out to it as it does not really push out cold air.

He reckoned its about as good as they get.

I would not buy another.

Have had the Fresh Jet fitted although no roof light it has a led light built in, it works well when we were in cornwall in july when it was 27 degrees outside it was a constant 21 inside speak to eddie at vanbitz as they recommended it and fitted it also if you decied to change vans you can take it with you and refit the original rooflight.

i would also think about weight as adds to payload and electric amps
The freshet, is about 42kg, but only takes 2-4 amps - quite important if you don't want to blow the electric and on continental sites with lower ehu supply
we have kept the old heki to replace if we sell the van and take the a/c onto the next
