Hi everyone, we have just arranged our first mot for rollerteam 600. Maidenhead Berkshire for those in this sort of area, £40.00 we thought that was seriously keenly priced. Having it done Friday will let you know how it goes and then recommend.

Mot done!

Hi all just had mot done on our rollerteam 600 (£40.00), she's a big beast and moorside Garage Ltd, Maidenhead, no problem. Moorside look after my Carioca 656 - we live in Burnham, just outside Maidenhead. They have done all the MOTs - 3 of them. Always great service. They did my cambelt for about £250.:thumb:

Just for information
Vosa carry out regular inspection on us MoT stations and dish out points for various things
The higher you score the worse you are rated in the traffic light system ie 1 point is good, 5 points are bad, and the traffic light system works like this.

Green You are a Good Compliant Garage:thumb:

Amber You have minor flaws to your garage systems or test procedures and Vosa will up the number of inspections

Red You are seriously at risk and Vosa will be Living with you:Blush:

As we slightly discount the fulll fee and offer FREE retests were were scored 5 points in the fees section as this equates to almost 60% discount
1 point each in all the remaining sectors, exept age of vehicles tested section where we scored a 2 :Sad: our average is 9 years the national average is 7.5 years old old making a total this inspection of 134.7points that keeps us in the green sector thankfully:Cool:
But it shows Vosa are now penalising MoT stations for discounting fees
How long before its stopped
And you all thought MoT testing was just about looking at vehiclesoh:
