Friends of mine are in the process of buying a Rollerteam 700 family from Alan Kerr in paignton. I personally love the layout and they are really excited to have the handover in feb. Does anybody have any info that may help them settle in and enjoy their moho..

I have the 690 which is samish exterior different interior layout. Still on a Ford.

I note that your friend is buying 6 berth (which mine is) but we use ours for 2 people (bought to take grumpchildren away in the future and the great value for money (in my view)

The downside, which is possibly not a downside, is the actual payload. It aint great. I have a choice of taking the motorbike in the back with some water or diesel or leave the wife behind. It is not fit for purpose at 3500 kgs for a family.

The good news is you can probably uprate it to 4100 kgs for anywhere between 150 nicker and 300 and save quite enough money off the vel to pay for it in a couple of years. Trouble is you then need the pre 97 driving licence.

When passing over this news (if you do) start with asking if they passed their test before 1997. Then you will know whether to give the good news or not !

I have found generally that Rollerteam have been quite good. i would buy again from them. They are tall and you can tell ferries they are only 6.99 metres long and not really lie (too much)

Best

We were going to get a 740 but realised we couldn't sit up in bed and enjoy our late lie in/morning coffee. Sounds minor but it's what we enjoy about being out and about in the moho

We have 600 same van with slightly different layout, loved it for 11 years, as its a 6 wheeler should have been registered as 3850 kg, with unladen about 3000kg, best of both worlds cheep road tax and higher speed limits, transit rwd great base vehicle, slightly thirsty with the overhead bed, but cannot have everything.

Just noticed that on the pics. You can ignore my concerns about the weight now !
