Roller Blind stuck !!!!! (1 Viewer)

Can anyone advise me on how to fix the roller blind in our Compass Avantgarde 400.It was ok when we last checked it but this time when we started to pull it up and down, it stuck. With a bit of fiddling it will eventually move but not really any good for the rest of the season..

Hi the blinds are usually attached to the frame,after removing the frame undo the 2 v/small possi screws from the round end leaving the sq end in situ then you can angle it up and pull it out replacing your net then reassemble going backwards if you get my drift.Once you put the sq end in place this is when you tension the blind-twirling around say 10 to 15 times then fasten the round end back down.This is very much trial & error but a good idea is to twirl the opposite way you would think to tension the blind as I always twirl it the wrong way first Simple after you have done 1 v/confusing the first time

Hi Jelzz
I had this problem on my Hymercamp and was advised to spray
WD 40 into the corners of the cassette frame use the plastic tube supplied
this cured my problem.
If this dose'nt do then as Terry said yo will have to take it to pieces

WD40 worked for me, better than taking them apart.
