Hi all! We have just realised that our current AA cover won't cover our motorhome (as it is 4 tons). Can you advise where we can get cover from? Thanks

Myself and a few on here use ADAC, the German automobile club. I know they cover my 3.5 tonne van but others will be along with more info. Cost is around £90 for Plus membership for me and Val, covers Europe too.

AA Arrivals via the Camping and Caravan Club or Similar with I think Green Flag through the Caravan Club when done via the clubs they do not have a weight limit attached - beware though there may be some distance limits on cover abroad.

Ours is an add on with the insurance from Comfort.
When the old van broke down (4250kg towing the toad), they sent the AA??? Did the recovery no problem to home and again lifted it a week later to get it to the injection pump specialist free of charge even though I though I would be charged for the second move with the original problem. No way would I buy direct from the breakdown company as the insurers are effectively one of their best customers so the service is I think much better.

Green Flag thro the Caravan Club, All the bells and whistles for just over £120, includes ANY CAR you are a driver OR passenger of.

Our MH with new ford engine is Under a service contract with ford which also includes breakdown home and abroad, seems a good deal £16 per month with all servicing and breakdown included. The AA are used.
