It is with sadness that I have to tell you of the passing of Spriddler (Neville)

We’ve received the very sad news that long-time Funster, ‘Spriddler’, passed away on the 2nd of March 2025.

Spriddler was a respected member of our community. His 10,000 plus posts were always full of warmth, humour, and helpful advice,

He will be sorely missed by all who knew him here. My thoughts are with Neville’s family and friends, and especially his son Nick, who kindly took the time to let us know.

Rest in peace, Neville and thank you for everything you brought to MotorhomeFun.

Sorry to hear that condolences to his family

Best wishes to his family, look back on the great times and fond memories.

I've said quite often that people actually die twice, once when they physically die and the next time is when their names are never again spoken and the memory of them is forgotten.
Take the time everyone to keep your loved ones alive for as long as you can and speak of them, tell your children, grandchildren etc about them and may they live forever.

Oh oh, you guessed it……

Oh bugger, it’s clouding over :crying: :crying:

A wonderful sentiment. I will remember it.

Very sad news. RIP Spriddler.

Haven't been here long enough to have 'known' Spriddler but I think the tributes to Neville speak for themselves.

A huge 'thank you' to his son Nick for letting the community know.

I did the same for the the biker forum my dad was active on when he died and was humbled and grateful for all the messages of support and appreciation that people who knew him passed on.

So, while I never knew him, or Nick - thanks Nick for letting people who cared for your dad and his contributions here know the sad news. You've probably reached more people than you imagine.

So sorry. He will be very much missed.

If it helps Nick at all he can be justifiably proud of his Dad for not only the big things but the small kindnesses that touched so many lives and made things better.

Lets hope there is a MotorhomeFun equivalent on the other side. May he rest in peace.
