Ring 900 compressor connections??

Hi All,
On recommendations from here we purchased a Ring 900 pro compressor / tyre inflator which has crocodile clips on the power lead.
On our 2018 Fiat Apache is it safe to connect these power clips to the +&- points under the bonnet to power the compressor???? The point meant are the ‘jump start’ connections.
OR
Does it have to be connected directly to the battery +&- terminals???

As always, advice greatly appreciated.

We always use our 900 on the engine compartment terminals.

Me too. It is safe and easier than lifting the cab floor panel.

Perfectly safe to use under bonnet connectors... They are connected straight onto starter battery terminals

We have used both, direct to leisure battery and under bonnet battery terminals.

I connect mine to the under bonnet jump start points.
Wherever you connect it to, make sure the engine is running when you use it, or you will flatten your starter battery in no timer
