hi all
Where's the nicest place you've toured in your mh, have you been nicely surprised by anything unexpected?

Difficult question, but Switzerland and Austria scored well for us.

Inland Provence, too.

Oh and Almeria, Spain.

The Belgian Ardennes region was a pleasant surprise.

And the Outer Hebrides weren't bad either.

No doubt countless more places, too many to recall right now... ;) (y)

Romania, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Outer Hebrides, Ireland. All excellent for wild camping.
Not necessarily in that order.

Another vote for the Inner and Outer Hebs.

The Golden Road on Harris was amazing....but I'm interested in geology among other things, and rocks aren't everyone's cup of tea!

On the mainland, the road to Ardnamurchan Point is also brilliant...arriving at the cusp of the Caldera between Kilchoan and Sanna is breath-taking (and - if they are still in business - having a hand-delivered curry on Sanna beach in the sunset is an awesome end to the drive!).

And cheating a bit....hiring an RV to tour British Columbia....super-sized everything!

as above
We have had some very good trips but not all motorhome based including Canada.
The best trip camper van based was four weeks in New Zealand on the North and South Island in a hired PVC. The owner of hire company said the milage we did was the highest in four weeks he had seen.
