Hi Sandra .. it's the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford in Gloucestershire ... reputed to be the largest air show in the world I think.

Edit, if you like aircraft, get yourself down here fast.

We will also be on the C&MC site as we have been for the last few years.
We have Fun stickers front and rear of the Carthago and are usually pitched beside the access track. Might be flying the RAF flag after the flying stops.

I sent my form & cheque off to the C&CC on the 11th of Jan, and my cheque has been cashed on the 24th - but have heard nothing... do you get a confirmation [I did give my email address] ?

I only ask because this will be my first THS booking [and RIAT come to that] so am unsure of how it works.
... plus I've double booked myself on the Sunday, a theatre performance...
but I don't want to cancel that if I'm not going to RIAT.

Hi Stephen, this thread was for last year's RIAT, but as they have cashed your cheque I'm sure you will be fine and if you have doubts you could give the organizer a call to confirm.

We are not going this year but were there all week for the 2018 show... you will enjoy it but it is very noisy at times so I'm not sure how Kerry will like it.

The organiser will usually expect a SAE to be enclosed for you to receive acknowledgment. I personally make a note of the email of the organiser and drop an email to enquire about receipt of booking asking for confirmation. Usually results in an email back confirming receipt and that booked on.

I did wonder about that but she seems to be totally un-phased by loud noise, doesn't even notice fireworks or the training jets we have overhead.
