Could anyone who uses Revolut banking tell me if the cards work ok in France, especially fuel stations please?

Revolut works fine in France. In the early days it was no good for tolls or garage pump payment.
But now most pay at the pump accept it.

Just be aware that pay at pump will take the max allowed immediately and refund the difference after a day or so.
Also there is a limit on cash machine withdrawal without charges.

To add to the above, the only problem I had was I was running low on balance (less than £100) and the pay at the pump declined the card, I topped up immediately using the app and it worked fine, always best to take another form of payment though!.

Currently touring in France with jumartoo Hymer and Revolut....we all seem to be getting on quite well.... haven't hit any problems so far...I feel well provided for....

That's the problem if you then want to spend money that they have ring fenced you cannot until it is returned. Additionally if you have a problem & cancel the first transaction & initite a second you now have 2 x 120€ unable to be used.
I only used pre loaded cards when paying otc. Pay at the pump in France I only ever use a spanish card as it is returned within minutes.

I agree I only use my Revolut card at pay at the pump as a last resort.
I find it great for the majority of other things

Been in France for two weeks and Revolut card has been brilliant. Easy contactless at the tolls, pay at pump not a problem even though you wait a day or so for them to reimburse the maximum payment. Used all the time in Lidl and campsites. No problems at all up to now. Be aware of I think its maximum of 200 euros a month to draw out at cash points before charges. Also only use established banks for drawing out cash as some others may charge.
