Woke up this morning to an alert on my 'phone saying that a transaction had failed on my Revolut card. Funny I thought, it's in the drawer in the office!
I'd only left £20 on the card as we only use it when abroad. Some (insert appropriate derogatory name here) had tried to spend £250 on clothing in Mansfield, someone else had tried to use the card in London at a Cafe Nero. I can only assume that the card got skimmed earlier this year when it was used in Punta Cana airport. Fortunately, Revolut's anti-fraud systems must've kicked in as the card was automatically blocked on my App.
Went online to Revolut support and got to communicate with a human in about 2 minutes, explained what had happened. Without hesitation, the original card was terminated. I was told to order a new one and they'd refund the delivery fee. New card ordered, fee refunded. All this took all of 10 minutes to sort out. That's what I call customer service!
