Hi
I have a BESSACARR 564 with an original fitted revering camera. It has started to play up. When I set off the view is fine for about 7 or 8 miles, then the view starts to look as if it is misty/ foggy to the rear ( not the smoke from the exhaust either!) and eventually the creek goes blank. If I stop ne go into reverse that view is fine. If I stop for n hour or so,the screen is OK then the above happens again. Occasionally across the screen is ( no signal).
Any ideas what is happening?

Thanks Peter, I'll have a look at that. Just puzzled that there is av1 and av2 and one is clear and the other eventually fails. Must check before posting again that " preemptive text" hasn't changed things like " screen " to " creek"!
Or was it just me?

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere.

I'm guessing that Bessacarr don't manufacture their own camera kit, therefore it is bought from a different manufacturer, say like Waeco. Is there any info on the camera system which might give a clue to the original manufacturer ?

I'm no expert .but a few solutions including the internet / YouTube suggest a fix is with a ground loop isolator to remove interference ...have a look at YouTube.....btw the Americans call them back up camera's. Hope this helps

Sounds like the rear view camera is misting with condensation as you say the reversing camera is clear.
