Reversing Camera Repairs (1 Viewer)

I have a problem with my reversing camera. It looks as if I'm reversing in thick fog. I'm pretty sure it's not just condensation on the lens although I can't see any obvious way of getting inside the housing to check. My local motorhome repair man says he doesn't touch cameras with a barge pole so does anyone have any suggestions for possible repairers in the Harrogate/York area?

Probably best to get a new one unless it's under warranty, it's what i had to do when mine became intermittent. I can't recommend the one i used as they didn't do a great job but i'm sure someone will recommend some one in your area.

Is it the Dometic one?

It can be done but you do need small screwdrivers.
My one was just full of water/condensation

Ours went dull then grainy, foggy and finally no picture. Replacing was cheap and easy once I figured out where the wires went. Repair would be far more expensive than replacement.
