Reversing Cam Monitor failed..standard plug?

Our Reversing camera Monitor seems to have packed up. It just flashes a white screen occasionally, and thin vertical coloured lines. Checked connections, all seem, ok. Is this 9 pin connector a standard, ie, can I just get another monitor and plug it in? See pic at -

Just had a look at mine looks the same so chances are its standard

Thanks both for the info. Taking the van in for a cycle rack fitting tomorrow, will get them to test the camera and monitor too.

I don't know if yours works the same as mine, because mine is a wireless 7inch monitor, mine packed up this week end wavy lines then a blank screen, I finally sorted it by going into the menu and it had camera 1 and 2 plus channel 1-2-3-4, it had some how gone on to a different camera and chanell setting, now sorted.

Thanks John, but I can't access the menu :Sad: It just turns on and off randomly, won't respond to any keypresses, hence my suspicion its the actual monitor thats gone

mine is a 5-pin one!
never attached to anything (other than the camera at the other end) when I bought it.
Any idea what it might fit?
